We had a wonderful day with Jesse and highly recommend his services to anyone looking to discover more about wine in the Bordeaux region. Jesse is hugely knowledgeable and passionate about wine and the region and imparts this knowledge in an easy and entertaining manner. He has clearly gone to great lengths to learn about the terroir and the quirks of the different vineyards. The three chateaux Jesse selected were little-known independent producers making great, high quality wine. The final chateau in particular was a real hidden gem. The owner is wonderful; she exudes such warmth and creativity and these qualities infuse all of her wines. Jesse’s choice for lunch was also spot on – wonderful food and company and a relaxed ambiance. If you’re looking to do a wine tour in Bordeaux we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Man vs Wine. Not only is Jesse hugely knowledgeable and entertaining, but having a built-in driver and translator meant that everyone in our group was able to fully relax and enjoy the day. Santé!
